It’s going to be “one of those days”. Dr Kleiner can’t seem to get the hang of this teleporter lark and you Gordon, are going to have to go out and put it all right again.
Leave the flat, take the lift down and wonder around the town.
The place to go is the barrier:
LOADING.
Man hacks.
Let the Combine deal with the first wave…
And the flying Washing-Machine-Of-Doom. Run through gate that opens, careful not to be blocked by a Combine [use noclip if this happens]. Try and avoid the manhacks, you pick up a gun from a fallen Combine and can find your HEV suit in the crates towards the canal. There will be at least 1001 man hacks and your objective is to keep people alive]. The crowbar is a most satisfying weapon for this!
The strider is taking on the WMD. Run around smashing boxes and beating manhacks to death. The way to go is up the steps and left.
At the end of the canal is a valve wheel. Jump into the water, turn the wheel and a hatch opens under the water, behind you. Swim through the tunnels.

Next come the zombie army…lead them around to the Combine where you can grab a machine gun. When you get a chance, run back to where you climbed off the ladder and out of the canal, and then return to where you first saw the hoard.
There is another triangular flying thing which proceeds to shine pretty green light on the tower wall. Ignore this and use the gate-control to switch off the energy shield where the combine were protecting Dr Kleiner‘s teleportation lab.

Enter the building to where Dr Kliener is explaining about his slow teleporter to Dr Breen.
Run down corridor.
Red box=HOT don't bother getting inside it.
Press button to lower lift [at the right hand side of the hot-box].When you get to the top of lift, run up stairs…for yet another portal accident!
